The biggest contributor to Leonardo da Vinci's success as a painter was that he made his own pigments and paints, and he took his formulae to his grave. He, like any painter who aspires to greatness, used many layers of thin, translucent paint to gradually build his tones. The AI on the other hand, is using bold blocks of colour right out of the tube, and a lot of rag blends. MEDIOCRE. Or to make a da Vinci pun, MEDI-OCHRE.<br /><br />Well, full disclosure, I'm burned up with jealousy that the AI seems to have designed the absolute best Star Trek uniform.
