Gemini-Generated Paranoid Productions Logos

Some of these are fun, but most are kind of meh. A lot of them look like triangles because the original logo, created by Jeff Shyluk, was a pyramid with an eye near the apex, and I told Gemini that in the prompts. The wordmarks aren't bad, but look too much like the CBS logo. The pyramid with the shadow might be my favourite conceptually, but it feels like an awkward shape for most real-world purposes. Pyramid eyeball sunrise might have promise if reworked.

Again, as a starting point? Maybe. Not ready for prime time, though.

The Illuminati-style pyramid is hardly my original concept, but I did make that logo decades ago. The technology I used was so primitive, it would have been more contemporary to carve a real pyramid out of stone and glue a ping-pong ball eye on to it.

Gemini's concepts look a lot like other pre-existing logos, which is to be expected since it uses a generative data set. This sort of AI is always going to be an echo chamber of past ideas.

By coincidence, I revisited my old logo last month and tried to get Stable Diffusion to create a funny version of it. AI doesn't really understand humour, or at least my brand of it. At it's best, AI takes the concept of eye-rolling far too literally, with gruesome results.
