Bottle and Cappy

You never know what threats you might face in the ruins of post-apocalyptic Nuka World, including deranged robots Bottle and Cappy. From mascots to murderers!

Taste the Nuka-Rainbow

For some reason I have extra Nuka-Cola vending machines. Rather than paint them all the standard red and white, I decided to paint a few in the livery of different Nula-Cola flavours.

Left to Right: Nuka-Cola, Nuka-Cherry, Nuka-Grape, Nuka-Cola Victory, Nuka-Cola Quantum, Nuka-Cola Orange, and regular Nuka-Cola again.

Nuka Warrior

About a month ago, I tried to paint a suit of power armor in Nuka-Cola colors. It looks...okay, I guess. I like the contrast of the yellow gun, and the texture of the wooden planks and the leaking barrel.

Nuka-Cola Girl

I wish Corax White had a nicer texture, but it's definitely the whitest white paint in my collection, so that's what I used for this miniature for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. In the Fallout universe, the Nuka-Cola Girl is an advertising character, but for the game the writers made her into a playable persona; hence, the need (?) for a miniature. My magnifier gave me the confidence (of a sort) to try really fine details such as the pinstriping on her arms and legs. My lines aren't the straightest, but not so long ago I wouldn't have even tried.

Another Nuka-Cola Vending Machine

Back in 2021, I painted a Nuka-Cola vending machine. Here's one I painted just a few days ago. I'd say the newer effort represents an improvement, though the earlier one isn't bad.

Nuka-Cola 3D Sign

I found a small assortment of cheap Fallout toys done in "army men" style--that is, a set of monochromatic figurines. This Nuka-Cola bottle was molded in obnoxious pink. Most of my games are played at scales of 28 to 32 mm, so this bottle is far too large to serve as an actual bottled beverage. So instead it will serve as a large, three-dimensional sign. You might find it at a bottling plant or grocery store.

Painting was pretty simple this time; a coat of black for the bottle, a coat of red for the base, logo background, and bottlecap, some drybrushed silver for weathering, and drybrushed white for the Nuka-Cola logo.

Nuka-Cola Vending Machine

Here's a Nuka-Cola vending machine I painted for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.
