Afternoon Visitor

I find it somewhat comforting when a bird drops in to hang out on our doorstep. 
 

Summer Birdie

Birdie perching
Surely searching
For a bit of grain
Birdie chirping
Also twerking
Courting birds in vain
Falling silent
In the twilight
Nodding off to sleep
Come the dawn
The birdie's gone
And all the children weep
 

Avian Visitor

A noisy bird visited this morning and squawked at us.

So proud I managed to paint this bird's eyes, which are maybe 0.5 mm each.
