Green Confectionery

My colleague Diane brought me a present on her return from a vacation to East Asia: this Green Tea Kit Kat bar. I brought it home to share with Sylvia, but we haven't been bold enough to try it yet. The package is certainly interesting. What script is that, I wonder?

That's a multi-lingual Kit-Kat all right. Most of the Asian typeface seems to be Thai. The Western typefaces are written in Indonesian and Vietnamese.

As it is with many treats from distant shores, you can either go on a far-flung exotic adventure across the International Date Line, or you can try the local T & T supermarket which has Green Tea Kit Kat for sale in the candy section. I won't destroy the suspense of what the flavour is like, just know that they sell Green Tea Kit Kat for a good reason.
